How is a GPS ear tag different from a normal ID tag$1

A GPS ear tag determines location and transmits supported data. A conventional tag primarily provides identity; the functions should be assessed separately.

Does it replace an official livestock ID tag$2

Official identification compatibility has not been established here. Keep required identification arrangements unless the exact device has approval for the intended system.

Does each animal need an ear tag$3
