01 / OVERVIEW

Resumen

Hardware para campo, despliegue documentado y soporte técnico de NEXA.

The Jinshengchang 805A cattle GPS ear tag provides an ear-mounted approach to livestock location monitoring. Each device can be assigned to an animal record, helping operators identify tracked cattle and check their latest reported positions through a compatible management platform.

The ear-tag format offers an alternative to neck-mounted tracking equipment. Attachment suitability must be assessed according to the animal’s age, ear size, device weight and fastening arrangement.

Location records support daily pasture tasks such as finding dispersed animals, reviewing movements and checking transfers between grazing areas. A compatible platform can organize these records by animal, herd, pasture and time period.

Solar-assisted charging supplements the rechargeable battery during suitable outdoor exposure. Reporting settings should balance the required location visibility with available energy and communication conditions.

Activity and environmental sensor records provide additional context for livestock observation. They can help operators decide which animals or locations need closer inspection, while interpretation should account for device placement and normal behavior. Shenzhen Jinshengchang Technology Co., Ltd. supports device supply, project configuration and integration with livestock management systems.

06 / FAQ

FAQ

Hardware para campo, despliegue documentado y soporte técnico de NEXA.

How is a GPS ear tag different from a normal ID tag$1
A GPS ear tag determines location and transmits supported data. A conventional tag primarily provides identity; the functions should be assessed separately.
Does it replace an official livestock ID tag$2
Official identification compatibility has not been established here. Keep required identification arrangements unless the exact device has approval for the intended system.
Does each animal need an ear tag$3
Individual tracking requires a device assigned to each monitored animal. Tracking selected animals does not establish the positions of untracked herd members.
Does every tag need a SIM$4
Cellular operation requires an active compatible service. A LoRa deployment uses appropriate receiving infrastructure. SIM requirements depend on the supplied configuration.
Can it connect to an SG50 LoRaWAN gateway$5
This requires a LoRaWAN-compatible tag version with the correct regional plan. Proprietary LoRa does not automatically work with a standard LoRaWAN gateway; registration and payload decoding must be verified.
Does it work without mobile coverage$6
A compatible LoRa network may provide local connectivity where mobile service is unavailable. Gateway coverage and the connection to the remote platform must still be planned.
Does it support continuous live tracking$7
Displayed locations depend on positioning and upload schedules. Shorter intervals increase traffic and power use; confirm the update frequency during planning.
How long does the 1500mAh battery last$8
Runtime varies with reporting frequency, sunlight, signal, temperature and enabled sensors. State a duration only with its operating conditions.
Can the tag detect illness or heat$9
Activity changes may support closer observation but do not independently establish illness or estrus. Such functions require validated analysis and reference data.
Does the temperature sensor measure core body temperature$10
No core-body-temperature capability has been established. Readings represent conditions at the sensor location.
Will a geofence stop cattle leaving$11
A tracking geofence provides notifications. Active containment with sound or electrical stimulation has not been established for this configuration.
Is it suitable for calves$12
Suitability depends on calf size, ear condition, device weight and fastening. Assess the intended age group before installation.
Can it be reassigned to another animal$13
Reassignment requires an approved removal and reattachment process, hardware inspection and an updated animal-device record. Fastening parts may need replacement.
What is needed for a quotation$14
Destination country, cattle quantity and age range, pasture map, terrain, network availability, update frequency, existing gateways and platform integration requirements.
