01 / OVERVIEW

Overview

Field-ready hardware, documented deployment and engineering support from NEXA.

Shenzhen Jinshengchang Technology Co., Ltd. develops solar marine GPS trackers for boats, buoys, docks, aquaculture installations and other coastal assets. The device combines satellite positioning, 4G communication, solar-assisted charging and a rechargeable battery to reduce the need to retrieve the unit for frequent charging.

The front solar panel supplements the battery when light is available, while the internal rechargeable battery maintains operation without light. Actual runtime depends on battery configuration, reporting interval, light conditions, temperature and network coverage, and must be confirmed for the selected configuration.

The unit includes an SOS button, LED indicator and mounting ears for attachment to hulls, buoy brackets, dock structures or aquaculture platforms. The mounting position must balance solar exposure, sky view for GNSS, cellular reception and water sealing.

A compatible platform provides location, movement history and configured geofence, low-battery and SOS notifications. Jinshengchang supports OEM/ODM covering branding, communication configuration, firmware, enclosure and platform integration.

06 / FAQ

FAQ

Field-ready hardware, documented deployment and engineering support from NEXA.

Can the solar panel replace charging$1
Solar is supplemental. Whether it maintains the battery depends on light, angle, shading, reporting frequency and battery configuration. Supplemental charging is needed during long overcast periods or shading.
How long does the battery last$2
Runtime depends on battery capacity, reporting interval, light, temperature and network. There is no single figure; confirm for the selected configuration and test profile.
Is it waterproof$3
The enclosure is a marine water-resistant design; the exact IP rating is confirmed by model. Mounting position, connector sealing and long-term immersion or pressure washing require separate assessment.
How does the SOS button work$4
The button can be configured to send an emergency notification to designated contacts through the platform. Delivery depends on network coverage and platform configuration.
Can it be mounted on a buoy$5
Yes with mounting ears or a bracket, but the buoy structure, solar exposure, antenna view and water sealing must be assessed.
Does it need a SIM$6
The 4G version requires a compatible active SIM or connectivity arrangement. Data and platform charges depend on the service plan.
Can it connect to our platform$7
Integration can be assessed using the device protocol, data fields and API. Sample data should be verified before production.
What is needed for a quotation$8
Destination country, asset type, quantity, mounting method, reporting interval, target runtime, platform requirements and customization needs.
